Camp Aldersgate is a great location for your next Church Retreat, Family Reunion, Group Training, Boy/Girl Scout Outing and so much more.

  • Our facilities can comfortably accommodate up to 35-120 people in the warm months of May-September and 25-45 people in the cold months of October-April.
  • Optional Food Service Packages are available during the months of May-August. For the rest of the year, when you rent our facilities, kitchen and dining space are included to prepare your meals or cater in. We provide everything you need to prepare meals. Some groups chose to keep it simple with a continental breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and ordering pizza for dinner; while other groups enjoy the space to prepare nice meals themselves; while other groups chose to have a different restaurant in town cater their meals each time.

Horstman Lodge Available Year Round

  • Sleeps 30 in 7 bedrooms.
  • Central Heat/Air Conditioning
  • 2 Queen Beds and 27 Twin XL sized bunked beds. (16 lower beds and 13 uppers) 
  • Each floor has a bathroom.
  • First floor has a large common area furnished with sofas, chairs, fireplace, and a 40 inch TV/DVD player.
  • A full-service kitchen equipped with two stoves, sink, cookware, dinnerware, microwave, and full-size refrigerator.
  • Additional restroom and shower facilities are located in the basement.
  • A large back deck, front porch and balcony provide outdoor space for lounging, meeting, grilling or eating outdoors.

Audio / Video Equipment can be set up to provide for projection and enhanced audio.

The Cottage Available Year Round

  • Sleeps 12 in 2 Bedrooms.

  • Twin sized bunks.
  • Each bedroom has a bathroom.
  • Single floor building with a common room/kitchen area.
  • The common room is furnished with sofas, chairs, tables, and a TV/DVD player
  • A full service kitchen equipped with a stove, sink, cookware, dinnerware, microwave, and full-size refrigerator.
  • Additional restroom and shower facilities, with outside access, are located in the basement available for use from late April to mid-October.

Swimming and Water-park Equipment

  • Available June 1st through Labor Day.
  • Lifeguards required.  Guest Groups may provide their own lifeguards for swimming.  Camp Aldersgate staff lifeguards are required for Water-park equipment.

Boating

  • Pontoon Boats are available May 1st through October 20th.  Boaters License or Lifeguard required- Groups may provide their own lifeguards or hire an Aldersgate driver.
  • Canoe and Kayaks are available year round. Air temperature must be at least 45 degrees and the lake must have open water.  Lifeguards required- Groups may provide their own lifeguards or hire an Aldersgate lifeguard.

Prayer Labyrinth

  • A stone lined outdoor prayer labyrinth.
  • Connected to our Outdoor Chapel by a lighted path.

A prayer labyrinth is a circular path used as a prayer “focussing” tool.  As you walk the labyrinth, you focus just enough on the path to stay on it which helps block out distractions.  Yet, you aren’t focused to the point of being distracted from a meaningful prayer and mediation time.  A tool that helps you take every thought captive.
